References to Ecosystems - Introduction

One of the great issues that often arises when anyone wants to study a particular subject, is that of finding the information they are looking for. Often, it is useful to find the most recent literature on a subject, but how long will it take?

The more time that is spent on searching for information, the less time there is to be actively advancing knowledge through projects or research.

This section is devoted to summarising articles and books that address particular subjects related to ecosystems or ecology. If one of the subject areas coincides with an area of research you are undertaking, it will provide a useful guide to the sources of literature that exist for that subject.

The listing of references will grow in two ways. Firstly, through the addition of more habitats and subjects, and secondly through updates of the latest releases in articles and books that are relevant.

Finding your way in this section

References are provided for three categories that come from periodicals as can be seen on the left side menu. Below that is a listing of specific ecosystem types, each having a listing of publications that deal with that type of ecosystem.

Specific location ecosystems and overviews are also given their own page.
